I’m in Grimsås, a small community in Sweden, stopping peat mining from taking place. With me are activists from multiple countries in Europe.

Why am I doing this? Wetlands store more carbon than all the world’s forests. As Europe burns, we cannot afford any more emissions, and peat mining should be illegalized immediately. This is the best I can to to act on global boiling.

I feel good. I notice that I’ve developed a lot over the last years - I handle stressful situations better, I’m better at leading and at letting go.

I wish more people would feel the responsibiliy I feel.
